Was looking at furniture there today good thing I didn’t buy anything. There is another location in St Charles maybe you can get something there for your credit.

I was called a “nigger lover” by Ron last night, because I allow black kids into my home. His wife then said to me, your some parent, you “let your daughter hang herself” ( my step daughter committed suicide 10 weeks ago). This was her response, because I took her 18 year old daughter to the hospital, because her son (16) beat his sister. This is a family of racist morons, and everyone should boycott this store.

Contact the Missouri Attorney Generals Office and fill out an online consumer complaint form. Maybe they can get your situation resolved with them.

Thanks for the insight. I was just preparing to leave Wentzville to go and visit the store in search for a bedroom set. However, with this kind of information regarding various transactions, I don’t believe it to be in my best interest to do business with this much risk.

When it comes to such ridicule, and the staff take pleasure in defrauding a customer, there is often no other choice than to litigate. Take them to small claims court and get your money back. Don’t let such profiteering crooks get away with fraud.

Sorry to hear about how furniture stores conduct themselves. I would simply go in and select an item for your credit for the full amount and have Justin pick it up the same day. Don’t special order anything. Get your credit settled and run.

Around Nov. 23, 2007, I paid in-full for a furniture set, and was originally given a 3 week delivery ETA. The owner, Ron, called a week later asking that my wife & I return to the store to confirm colors by matching swatches. At this time he told us the ETA would be 6-8 weeks. When delivery came, approximately 10-12 weeks later, it was the wrong furniture. He offered the incorrect furniture as a loaner, plus $400 off our original $2,438, until the correct furniture came in. He typed & signed a letter attesting to this agreement, and refunded the $400 on 2/3/2008. It has now been 7 months since the original order date, with no resolution in sight. Ron refuses to give a refund, and has given conflicting status reports each time we call. We have been told it was in California awaiting shipping. Then told it was on a ship at sea in route to the U.S. Then told again that it was in CA. I have asked them repeatedly to contact us with status updates, each time receiving no response. When we call, we are given more run-arounds and stalling efforts. Ron has become increasingly insulting and contemptible in our dealings with him. I have been requesting a refund for months, only to be met with denials. I’m filing my Small Claims paperwork this week! Avoid Room to Room!! The wife Robyn is nice. Ron is an offensive liar!

I’m in the middle of an eerily similar episode with Room to Room Furniture as of late. Same terrible service after the sale, same failure to honor their commitments.

There’s never too much time on your hands when trying to get what you paid for. The principal of the matter is that they need to deliver specifically what is ordered in the agreed amount of time. Any increase in price after the sale is Room to Room Furniture’s problem and they should have to eat the difference.
